Seven Letters to Seven Churches

The Seven Churches in Asia were in turmoil; hard pressed on every side and living in the middle of social upheaval. Persecution and oppression divided the church. Economic instability threatened their livelihood. False teaching had infiltrated their ranks. Satan was on the prowl. In response, Jesus sends a personal word of encouragement along side an earnest call for renewal in the midst of trials. We too live in unusual times. In times of testing, repentance and renewal is the means to overcoming.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
