The Kindness of God

The Kindness of God

Where is God in the Covid-19 crisis? The Corona virus speaks a deceptive word to us. The question is do we believe the deception? God is weak. God is unkind. God is absent. God is unfair. These are a few of things we our sinful nature say when things are not working for our individual comfort, our security or our health. But the reality is that God is sovereign above this virus, above the governments, above the social limitations of this virus. God is kind. He is chasing after us. He is pursuing us no matter how fast we run; no matter how hard we resist; no matter how much we disbelieve! God is committed to chasing after you. Chasing after us while we linger in our disbelief; while we seep in our self-pity; while we rebel in our sin. Jesus shows us that God is pursuing us even as we jet off in the opposite direction. And he does so until the end of time. God is kind. Join us as we dive into God’s most misunderstood characteristic over the next 6 weeks leading up to Easter.
