Dear Parents
Because of the restrictions of Covid 19 we are only able to have 12 children/ per age group actually attending Sunday school which means that your children might not be able to attend consecutive Sundays for the next few months.
It is my prayer that we will able to go back to “before Corona” as soon as possible, but in the meantime I would very much like your children not to miss out on the lessons that we teach each Sunday. So, to help you keep your children up to date on where we are on our journey through the bible, we will continue to upload the current lessons here (see link below).
Additionally, I will be sending out a Sunday school e-newsletter. To keep updated with the lessons, any news or changes I would really encourage you to subscribe to it.
The next few Sundays we are studying the book of Esther, how Nehemiah led the people to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem and the people repented . The last session we will study Malachi the Prophet and with this we will have finished the Old Testament and after the Christmas break will start with the New Testament
The Leaders guide will give you insight into the lesson, then read the story and explain. Once your children have grasped the main point and how it points to Jesus, then show the corresponding video, about 3 to 4 min. You can print and use the activity and colouring pages should you wish to.
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
